It is April Y174 and the General War rages on. Fleets move back and forth across the "devastated zones", an area of 3,000 parsecs of the original Federation borders. Klingons and Romulans are launching raids on the Federation home worlds, but they are not trying to conquer them. Occasionally, the Alliance raids reach the fringes of Coalition territory. By this time, large scale fleet engagements are rare.
Operation Breadbasket turns out to be one of those rare times. Federation intelligence has found out that the Kzinti have with drawn part of their fleet from the old Federation/Hegemony border as part of their negotiation for a peace with the Klingons and Lyrans. The agricultural world of Zeta Thetis IV has been abandoned. Star Fleet command is dispatching Task Force Diamond to capture this world. Apparently Klingon Intelligence is as good as Federation because when Task Force Diamond arrives at Zeta Thetis IV they are met by a Klingon Task Force.
Come and command a capital ship or a group of support vessels in either the Klingon or Federation task forces sent to secure the planet. All materials will be provided. Current Federation Commander rules and miniatures will be used.
